God created the institution of marriage, as the union of one biological man & one biological woman. Its purpose is to display the covenant love between God & His Church. Because Jesus affirmed (Matt 19:4-5) His father’s good design of marriage, we long to affirm what Jesus was “for.” Marriage, as God defined it, has the power to point people to Christ and salvation.
